Last week, 79-year-old Norma Joan Brennan wanted to get her driver's license renewed. She will not be getting her wish.
Brennan had been driving for around 50 years, but her license was suspended for an undisclosed medical condition. Last week, her pastor agreed to go with her to the Florida Department of Motor Vehicles to help her get it restored.
On the way there, Brennan was driving, and they decided to stop at a Target store.
As she was parking, Brennan accidentally hit the gas pedal instead of the brake and plowed her car into the store. No one was hurt.
Brennan was cited for driving with a suspended license, and her pastor was also cited for allowing an unlicensed driver to use his vehicle.
