You might find some of your co-workers, and they may feel the same way about you.
Here are four ways you could be getting on the nerves of your co-workers:
- You will not shut up about your dog, kids, vacation, or upcoming wedding. You can talk about that stuff for a few minutes, but if you find yourself going on and on over and over again, you are probably driving your fellow employees crazy.
- You are always doing fundraisers. Some parents bring in their kids' fundraising items from school, and people are guilted into buying wrapping paper, chocolate, cookies, and other stuff they do not want. Most people will not mind this happening occasionally.
- You ask for help all the time. If you find yourself constantly needing help, asking questions, fishing for praise, or trying to get attention, you are probably getting on people's nerves.
- You make a lot of noise. If you talk really loudly on the phone or to other workers, play music loudly, or talk to yourself, your co-workers might hate you. Use your headphones and keep your voice down.
