Marilyn Manson has been pairing music with the occult for most of his career, but now he's doing it for TV.
The rocker and composer Tyler Bates are responsible for the opening main title sequence for the new WGN America series "Salem." The drama about the 17th-century Salem Witch Trials premiered this past Sunday, but the new opening is set to debut with the second episode this weekend.
Manson says he likes "Salem" because it "looks at the witch trials without being cliché like most modern films."
The new music, meanwhile, comes from a new song from Manson called "Cupid Carries a Gun." It's expected to be included on the follow-up to his 2012 album Born Villain.
"Salem" airs Sundays at 10 pm Eastern on WGN America.
