After the devastation of last week's fertilizer-plant explosion in West, it's time to step up and help our fellow Texans.
To help raise money for families of the fallen first responders, we will be at the following Kroger locations collecting donations on Wednesday...
- 6-10 am: 945 West Lamar Boulevard in Arlington
- 3-7 pm: 4241 Capitol Avenue in Dallas
You can also make donations at these locations and times...
- 6-10 am: 3305 Dallas Parkway in Plano
- 3-7 pm: 3300 Texas Sage Trail in Fort Worth
You can also donate directly to the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation. The Foundation has established a national fund to accept monetary donations to assist the survivors and coworkers of the fire and EMS personnel who died in the line of duty. All donated funds will be used to assist the survivors and coworkers to rebuild their lives and support the programs and services they will need. Click here to donate online. Checks can be mailed to:

Finally, donations can also be made to the Red Cross of DFW and the Red Cross of Austin by texting REDCROSS to 90999. A $10 donation to American Red Cross National Disaster Relief will be put on your phone bill. Note: money may not go directly to West, but a rising tide raises all ships.
