The Seattle Police Department has released eerie photographs from the scene of Kurt Cobain's death in April 1994. From a roll of previously undeveloped 35mm investigation scene photos were Cobain's suicide note, on top of a planter in the greenhouse with a pen stuck through the center of it.
Although the note had been been seen before, this is the first time we've seen how Cobain placed the note in the greenhouse. There's also pics of Cobain's heroin kit, with syringes and other paraphernalia kept in a cigar box, a picture of Cobain's open wallet clearly showing his Washington State drivers license while another shows a cigarette lighter, a pack of cigarettes, a winter hat, cigarette butts, and sunglasses lie on the floor strewn around his heroin kit. The case is not being reopened, although the Seattle Police Department announced last week, it had developed the film as part of a re-examination of Cobain's death.
